Naya Shakti party makes its manifesto public

Kathmandu, May 1: The Naya Shakti Party, Nepal has made its commitment letter (manifesto) public with a special focus on economic development and prosperity, in consideration of the May 14 local level elections. Making the commitment letter public, Party Coordinator Dr Baburam Bhattarai shed light on the party’s goal of economic development and prosperity for the next five, 15 and 25 years. Equitable prosperity, proportional, inclusive and participatory democracy, good governance and good conduct, independence, freedom and prosperous socialism are the election commitments of the party. The major features includes reaching per capita income to 15,000 dollars in 25 years, providing employment to three lakh people annually, free health service for citizens below 15 and above 65 years of age and bringing in 2 million tourists annually.
