Local resident Banepa (Kavrepalanchok), May 5: A woman was killed when a bolt of lightning struck her at Bethanchowk rural municipality-1 in Kavrepalanchow district last night. Om Kumari Adhikari, 22, was home when the incident occurred, police said. Adhikari died on the spot.
