Kathmandu : CPN (UML) Mayoral candidate of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Bidya Sundar Shakya, has been leading the vote count. He has received 24,053 votes so far. Shakya’s nearest rival Raju Raj Joshi of the Nepali Congress has won 17,077 votes. Similarly, Ranju Neupane of Bibekshil Nepali has garnered 9,699 votes while Kishor Thapa of Sajha Party has got 7,328 votes. Likewise, CPN (UML) Mayoral candidate Sarbottam Dangol has received 2,780 votes. Similarly, Hari Prabha Khadgi of NC, a candidate to the post of Deputy-Mayor, has received 22,198 votes while Rajaram Shrestha of Rastriya Prajatantra Party has garnered 13,781 votes. Nirupama Yadav of Sajha Party has got 4,673 votes while Sushila Poudel of the CPN (Maoist Centre) received 3,786 votes. A total of 74, 291 votes have been counted so far. Meanwhile, the panel of NC has got victory in ward no 29 and 30 of KMC.
