Dadeldhura : Five persons died in a road accident that took place near Saukharka of Dadeldhura this morning. The accident took place when a passenger bus (Na.6Kha.1831) was heading towards Bajhang from Dhangadi, according to District Police Office.
Many others were injured in the accident that took place at 5:30 am. They are undergoing treatment at Dadeldhura hospital.
Further details about the accident and identity of the deceased are not yet known. Preliminary investigation showed that the bus was carrying passenger and goods beyond its capacity.
Security persons and locals worked together to rescue the passengers.
