Kathmandu : A Sita Air flight to Lukla, also known as the gateway to Everest, has made an emergency landing in Kathmandu after one of its engines on board failed.
The plane (9N-AJAH), made an emergency landing at around 8:45 am after the pilot reported that an engine on the aircraft had failed, said TIA Managing Director Raj Kumar Chhetri.
Sita Air said that only crew members were on board the flight. No injury or casualty has been reported.
Authorities said the plane will undergo a check before it is allowed to fly again.
