Melamchi : Nepali Congress candidate has been elected the chairperson of the Indravati Rural Municipality here in Sindhupalchowk district. Bansalal Tamang mustered 5,365 votes against CPN (UML) candidate, Jhamka Nepal’s 5,165 votes to win the election. In the post of Vice Chairperson, NC’s Mira Adhikari Lama has been elected with 5,191 votes. Her closest contestant Saraswoti Adhikari from UML received 5,079 votes.
